Saddle Trial Policy

Thank you for choosing Tack Attic for your saddle needs. Please review the following important terms regarding our saddle trial policy:

  • Card Requirement: All saddles taken on trial require a valid credit card number to be provided at the time of checkout. This card will be used for payment if you choose to purchase the saddle.
  • Payment by Check: In certain cases, payment by check may be allowed, but this must be arranged and approved in advance.
  • Trial Limit: Customers may take up to 3 saddles on trial at one time.
  • Trial Period: The standard trial period is 7 days. If the saddle is not returned within 14 days, and we are unable to reach you via phone, email, or other communication methods, your card will be charged the full asking price of the saddle plus applicable taxes.
  • Saddle Condition: Saddles kept beyond the 7-day trial period will likely show signs of use or wear beyond their original condition at checkout. In such cases, the person who took the saddle on trial will be charged a fee for the use of the saddle, to be determined based on the extent of wear.
  • Damage or Repair: Saddles returned with any damage, broken parts, or in need of repair—regardless of severity—may result in the customer being responsible for purchasing the saddle at full asking price. This includes, but is not limited to, excessive wear, torn leather, broken trees, damaged stitching, or compromised structural components.
  • Cleaning Fee: Saddles returned dirty will incur a $25 cleaning fee, which will be charged to the card on file.

By taking a saddle on trial, you agree to these terms. Please contact us with any questions prior to beginning your trial period.

Thank you,
